Hello!!

Growing up, my family encouraged and strongly emphasized the value of a team and the contribution of all members of that team. This has been the foundation of my passion to help people find fulfillment in their personal and professional lives and know how to be effectively positioned to bring their best to any organization or context. I believe that teams, families and communities thrive when each individual is positioned to operate mainly out of their areas of strength and encouraged to support others to do the same.

Originally from the sandhills of Nebraska, I have lived in Iowa, Wisconsin and Colorado, and currently live in Minneapolis, MN with my husband and three boys. I enjoy travel, love being outside as much as weather permits and reading good books that capture the imagination.

Joining the journey with individuals, teams and organizations is a priviledge. My goal is to walk with clients in caring curiousity as a guide, allowing them to discover joy and fulfillment in their personal and professional lives. I believe that personal discovery is more fruitful than information distribution and therefore sessions are structured in ways that encourage discovery supported by contextualizing material and content to fit the needs of clients and situations. I draw from a wide variety of training (lay counseling, mental fitness, leadership and team development, education, personal experience and observation) and strive to provide practical application, gentle accountability, clear communication, and tangible steps forward toward attainable goals in a calm, anxiety-free context.

My Approach

I have always been fascinated by the intentional process a topiary goes through in being shaped and pruned over time to see transformation take place and beauty surface. It is reminiscent of the maturing process many of us go through in our lives. For lasting growth and refinement to take place, it is most effective when that process is engaged with intention, in a community and aimed at letting beauty, texture and creativity emerge. There is also a measured process in a topiary’s growth that reminds us to be patient and kind to ourselves in the transformation. I find that this picture communicates how I strive to journey with my clients as they see transformation take place in their organizations and personal lives.
